The lightweight aluminium frame is built with the same care and finish as Merida’s full-size bikes, using double-butted tubing and smooth welds for strength without excess weight. At this size, saving weight is especially important, and the rigid aluminium fork helps keep the bike light and manageable for younger riders.Oversized 24” wheels are fitted with wide Maxxis Pace tyres, offering more surface contact for grip, cushioning, and stability on mixed terrain. This “plus tyre” setup makes the bike more forgiving and confidence-inspiring, perfect for tackling trails, paths, and family rides. The geometry has been inspired by Merida’s MTB range, giving young riders stability and easy handling.The drivetrain is a Microshift Acolyte 8-speed system, simple and intuitive with a wide 11-38T cassette to handle climbs and descents. Short-reach trigger shifters are designed for smaller hands, making gear changes smooth and easy. Stopping is handled by Tektro HD-J2820 hydraulic disc brakes, which offer reliable, controlled braking with child-friendly levers and 160mm rotors front and rear.Finishing kit is junior-specific too, from the narrower 600mm bars to the shorter cranks and scaled saddle, all designed for comfort and control. Returns

Refunds

Sellers have to offer a refund for certain items only if they are faulty, such as: Personalised items and custom-made items, Perishable items, Newspapers and magazines, Unwrapped CDs DVDs and computer software. If you used your PayPal balance or bank account to fund the original payment, the refunded money will go back to your PayPal account balance. If you used a credit or debit card to fund the original payment, the refunded money will go back to your card. The seller will effect the refund within three working days but it may take up to 30 days for Paypal to process the transfer. For payments funded partially by a card and partially by your balance/bank, the money taken from your card will go back to your card and the remainder will return to your PayPal balance.
